This Tuesday, April 19th, Guernica and OR Books present a conversation between political scientist Norman Finkelstein and Palestinian writer and lawyer Raja Shehadeh at Alwan for the Arts. Finkelstein, a Guernica interviewee, is best known for his scholarly work about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the Holocaust, including Beyond Chutzpah, The Holocaust Industry, and Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict. Shehadeh won an Orwell Prize in 2008 for Palestinian Walks. His most recent book, Rift in Time, is a family memoir about Shehadeh’s uncle, who was a journalist in World War I, and was excerpted in Guernica this month.

The event begins at 8 p.m.
