“The city is my playground,” says photographer Alexander Bartsch. “I like to explore the streets, finding beauty around the corner, on writings on the wall, in forgotten, rundown places, in playgrounds, at bus stops, in car parks, on the floor… with a bit of grime, humor, and a touch of voyeurism.”
Alexander Bartsch was born in Strasbourg in 1983 and has a degree in Arts and Media from the University of Creative Arts in Surrey. Currently based in London, he spends his time shooting and documenting the streets of the city. His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions around London and has been published in magazines such as Hamburger Eyes and Graphotism.
