Tarek Abi Samra is a writer and translator from Lebanon. He writes regularly for L’Orient littéraire in French, and for several independent outlets in Arabic. In English translation, his work has appeared in The New England Review, The Markaz Review, and in the Beirut Noir anthology (Akashic Books 2015). He has translated, from French to Arabic, the Goncourt prize-winning novel, Boussole (Compass), by Mathias Énard.
