Jemimah Wei is a Singaporean writer based in the Bay Area, where she is a 2022–2024 Stegner Fellow. A recipient of awards and fellowships from Columbia University, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Singapore’s National Arts Council, and Writers in Paradise, she has been named one of Narrative’s “30 Below 30” writers and recognized by Best of the Net. Her fiction has received a William Van Dyke Short Story Prize, an Honorable Mention in the Francine Ringold Awards for New Writers, and a Pushcart nomination. She has been published in Guernica, Narrative, and Nimrod, among others. She is at work on a novel and two story collections.
