Ania Spyra is a multi-genre writer living in Indianapolis. Iowan by immigration, she grew up in Polish Upper Silesia during the post-communist transition of the 1980s and 1990s. An Associate Professor at Butler University, she teaches Transnational Literature and Creative Writing. Her work has appeared in, among others, Studies in the Novel, Comparative Literature, Contemporary Literature, Critical Read, Indianapolis Review, and Colorado Review.
