Evangelism is rapidly gaining popularity in traditionally Catholic Latin America. While the evangelist churches originally sought out the poor, rural migrants, and indigenous peoples, these churches have started to attract the urban middle class as well. At a recent crusade in Bolivia, over thirty thousand worshippers filled a stadium to see Cash Luna, a Guatemalan pastor who heads one of the largest evangelical churches in Latin America.
